Fresno County, California (January 23, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday night in Kerman, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported at around 7:00 p.m. on Highway 145, just north of Belmont Avenue.
A man reportedly walked directly into the path of a car for unknown reasons and was struck.
The impact of the crash threw the man onto the northbound lane where he was hit by a second vehicle.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
