Correctional Officer Killed in Fresno Motorcycle Crash at West Avenue and Princeton Avenue ID’d as Randy Villalobos
Fresno Motorcycle Accident at West Avenue and Princeton Avenue Kills 33-Year-Old Randy Villalobos
Fresno, California (January 23, 2021) – 33-year-old Randy Villalobos has been identified as the Fresno County Correctional Officer who died following a motorcycle collision that occurred Friday morning in Fresno.
The deadly crash was reported at approximately 6 a.m. in the area of West Avenue at Princeton Avenue.
A motorcycle ridden by Villalobos, at the Fresno intersection, slammed into a pickup truck that was making a left onto West Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Officials said Villalobos had been with the sheriff’s office since 2013.
Villalobos died at Community Regional Medical Center while undergoing treatment of major injuries.
There was no other victim hurt, including the pickup truck motorist.
The resulted in the closure of West Avenue temporarily for an unknown time.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
