Dorris Pedestrian Accident at Mathews and Big Stump Roads Sends One to Hospital
Major Injury Dorris Pedestrian Collision at Mathews and Big Stump Roads Thursday Evening
Dorris, California (January 29, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a pedestrian accident Thursday evening in Dorris, Siskiyou County.
On January 28, at about 5:53 p.m., the California Highway Patrol received a crash report involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at the intersection of Mathews and Big Stump roads.
The CHP did not immediately establish how the pedestrian was hit by the vehicle at the Dorris intersection.
The motorist of the involved vehicle stopped following the mishap and cooperated with the law.
Medical personnel rushed the pedestrian to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries sustained in Dorris.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
