Bishoy Elmagarisy Killed in Head-On Collision on Mariposa Road in Hesperia
Hesperia, California (January 7, 2021) – The man who died in a head-on crash on Mariposa Road Monday morning has been identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner as Bishoy Elmagarisy, 31.
The fatal crash happened at about 10:38 a.m., January 4, on Mariposa Road just south of Sycamore Street.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, Elmagarisy was driving a Subaru Impreza when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle collided head-on with a Toyota Tacoma.
Emergency crews responded to the crash scene and pronounced Elmagarisy dead at the scene.
The condition of the second motorist was not immediately disclosed.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
