Adolfo Heredia Identified as Bicyclist Killed Oxnard Accident at South Oxnard Boulevard and Wooley Road in Oxnard

Oxnard, California (January 14, 2021) – Adolfo Ambriz Heredia, 75, of Oxnard, has been identified as the bicyclist who was hit and killed by a semi-truck on Saturday afternoon in Oxnard, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The crash occurred at the intersection of South Oxnard Boulevard and Wooley Road at about 3:43 p.m. on January 9.

According to the officials, Heredia was struck by a 2019 Peterbilt semi that was hauling a 53-foot trailer.

The truck was reportedly turning from northbound Oxnard Boulevard onto Wooley Road at the time of the crash.

Sadly, Heredia was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi-truck driver, a 21-year-old Fresno man, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.

Traffic at the intersection was stopped for several hours due to the mishap.
