2 Women Killed in San Francisco Hit-And-Run Collision on Second and Mission Streets, Troy McAlister Arrested

San Francisco, California (January 2, 2021) – Two women died following a pedestrian accident Thursday afternoon in San Francisco, the San Francisco Police Department reported.

The hit-and-run collision took place at Second and Mission streets on December 31.

The accident happened when a stolen vehicle driven by 45-year-old Troy McAlister ran a red light for unknown reasons. McAlister then hit two women in the South of Market neighborhood shortly before 4:00 p.m.

Officials said McAlister, who was on parole, was under the influence of alcohol at the collision time.

Sadly, one of the women died in the accident while the other was pronounce deceased at the hospital.

McAlister continued driving after the mishap but was later arrested on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
