1 Killed in DUI Car Accident on Highway 50 in Rancho Cordova
Rancho Cordova, California (January 4, 2021) – One person was killed in a suspected DUI car crash in Rancho Cordova on Sunday night.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Highway 50 at the Sunrise Boulevard offramp at about 8 p.m. January 3.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. The circumstances of the collision, however, were not immediately established.
The police said one person was injured in the accident and was taken to a nearby hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The police arrested another person on suspicion of driving under the influence.
