Thomas Davis Killed in Gardena Car Crash on Van Ness Avenue near 139th Street
Gardena, California (December 3, 2020) – Thomas Cary Davis Jr., 64, of Los Angeles, was killed in a collision on Wednesday morning in Gardena.
According to the Gardena Police Department, the accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. on Van Ness Avenue near 139th Street.
Davis Jr. was driving a Dodge Ram northbound on Van Ness Avenue when, for unknown reasons, he slammed into the back of another vehicle.
Another vehicle was also involved in the collision.
Davis suffered major injuries and was rushed to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
