Oakland Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Accident at 24th and Market Streets Left Richard Wiltz Dead
Oakland, California (December 10, 2020) – 48-year-old Richard Wiltz has been identified as the Antioch victim who died following a motorcycle collision in Oakland Monday night.
The hit-and-run accident happened at the intersection of 24th and Market streets at about 5:08 p.m. December 7.
The mishap involved a purple BMW 650i heading southbound on Market Street and a Kawasaki EX250 motorcycle operated by Wiltz westbound on 24th Street.
Due to the impact, Wiltz was ejected from his bike and landed on the highway.
Officials affirmed the BMW operator fled the crash site on foot.
Sadly, Wiltz died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
More details about the accident will be released immediately after the completion of the investigation.
