Northern Antelope Valley Head-On Collision on 170th Street East near south Avenue S Kills Adalberto Trujillo

Northern Antelope Valley, California (December 22, 2020) – 31-year-old Adalberto Trujillo, of Palmdale, has ben identified as the victim who died following a traffic collision Monday afternoon in northern Antelope Valley.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash site at approximately 3:30 p.m. on 170th Street East south of Avenue S.

The accident involved a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck heading southbound on 170th Street East and a 2010 Honda Civic driven by Trujillo north on 170th Street East.

Trujillo reportedly allowed the Honda Civic, to swerve off left into the opposing lane, directly into the path of the Silverado prior to the head-on crash.

Sadly, Trujillo died at the scene.

The Silverado operator was hospitalized with moderate injuries following the mishap.

Intoxication was not believed to have played role in the wreck.

The fatal accident remains under an active investigation.
