Taft Motorcycle Accident at Buena Vista and Naylor Streets Left Charles Price Dead
Motorcyclist Charles Price Dies in Collision with Vehicle at Buena Vista and Naylor Streets in Taft
Taft, California (December 11, 2020) – The Kern County coroner’s office has identified 67-year-old Charles Price as the victim who died following a motorcycle accident at an intersection in Taft Tuesday afternoon.
Officials responded to the deadly crash site shortly after 1:30 p.m. in the area of Buena Vista and Naylor streets.
The accident involved a Honda Accord driven by 22-year-old Dylan Leiter and a motorcycle operated by Price southbound on Naylor Street at a high rate of speed.
Due to the impact, Price was ejected from the bike, and his helmet came off.
Sadly, Price died at Kern Medical while undergoing treatment of critical injuries.
23-year-old Tiffany Fuentes, who was riding in the vehicle as a passenger, sustained minor injuries.
There was no other victim injured, including Dylan Leiter.
Intoxication was not believed as a factor in December 1 mishap.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
