Lorena Ponce Identified as Woman Killed Canoga Park Pedestrian Crash at Roscoe Boulevard and Lurline Avenue

Canoga Park, California (December 18, 2020) – Authorities have identified Lorena Ponce, 46, of Winnetka, as the woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in Canoga Park.

The fatal pedestrian accident occurred at the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Lurline Avenue, at about 5:06 a.m., on December 16.

According to the police, Ponce was struck by a vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, Ponce was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver involved driver fled the scene. The suspect’s vehicle was described as an older model Chevy Tahoe, light-colored, tan or silver in color.

A reward of up to $50,000 is available for anyone who provides information leading to the driver’s arrest.
