Man, 42, Killed in Watsonville Collision on Beach Street
Fatal Watsonville Pedestrian Accident on Beach Street
Watsonville, California (December 16, 2020) – A Watsonville pedestrian accident Tuesday morning left a 42-year-old man dead.
The man was hit by a vehicle operated by a 22-year-old party in the 1400 block of Beach Street at approximately 1:30 a.m.
The pedestrian was pushing a cart of recyclables in the street’s westbound lane before he was struck by the vehicle whose driver remained at the scene.
Sadly, the man died in the accident.
Intoxication and cell phone use were not believed to have played a role in the mishap.
More details about the accident will be released after the Watsonville police complete the investigation.
