1 Killed in Compton Pedestrian Crash at Rosecrans Avenue and Atlantic Avenue
Fatal Pedestrian Accident Reported at Rosecrans and Atlantic Avenues in Compton
Compton, California (December 13, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that happened on Saturday night in Compton.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened in the area of East Rosecrans and South Atlantic avenues just before 10:40 p.m. December 12.
The CHP said a pedestrian was hit by a white Nissan Altima in unclear circumstances.
The paramedics responded to the crash and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The collision resulted in the closure of the roadway for about two hours.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
