Lamanda Lovin Hit and Killed by Vehicle at San Gabriel and Rosemead Boulevards in El Monte
El Monte Pedestrian Crash at San Gabriel and Rosemead Boulevards Kills 61-Year-Old Lamanda Lovin
El Monte, California (December 19, 2020) –61-year-old Lamanda Lovin, of Norwalk, has been identified as the victim who died following a pedestrian accident that happened Thursday evening in South El Monte.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash site about 6:20 p.m. near the area of San Gabriel and Rosemead boulevards.
Lovin was struck by a 2001 GMC truck while crossing a street near the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area at evening hours.
The initial report showed that Lovin was standing in the center median prior to the collision.
Sadly, Lovin was declared dead at the scene.
An investigation into the deadly crash is underway.
