Duarte Multi-Vehicle Accident on Foothill (210) Freeway Kills 64-Year-Old Manuel Rodriguez
Duarte, California (December 24, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol has identified the Whittier male party who died following a car crash in Duarte Tuesday morning as 64-year-old Manuel Rodriguez.
The deadly multi-vehicle collision took place at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Foothill (210) Freeway.
The accident involved a 2014 Infiniti and a 2004 Subaru Forester operated by20-year-old Marcos Miramontes.
Miramontes, a Los Angele resident, swerved into the left at the time of the collision.
The Subaru overturned down an embankment upon the impact.
Rodriguez was declared dead at the scene. He was riding as a passenger in the Subaru.
Limited details regarding the wreck were released at the time of the report.
Intoxication were not considered as a factor in the mishap.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
