Buellton Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near Jonata Park Road Kills 31-Year-Old Nicole Grantham
Buellton, California (December 23, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol have released the name of the Paso Robles woman who died following a motorcycle accident on a highway in Buellton Saturday afternoon.
On December 19, just after noon, officials received a report of a crash involving a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Volkswagen on Highway 101 near Jonata Park Road.
The accident happened when a Volkswagen entered into the path of the motorcycle ridden 31-year-old Nicole Grantham from the center median.
Grantham, who was riding on the northbound lanes of the freeway, then crashed with the Volkswagen.
Grantham died at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital while undergoing treatment of critical injuries.
Officials did not believe intoxication played a role in the wreck.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
