Carmichael Pedestrian Collision on Fair Oaks Boulevard Left 81-Year-Old Forouz Kashi Dead
Authorities ID’d Forouz Kashi as Pedestrian Killed on Fair Oaks Boulevard Accident in Carmichael
Carmichael, California (December 24, 2020) – The victim who was struck and kid by a vehicle Monday night in Carmichael has been identified by the California Highway Patrol as 81-year-old Forouz Kashi of Carmichael.
The CHP responded to the deadly crash site at approximately 7:10 p.m. at Fair Oaks Boulevard and Marshall Avenue
Kashi was walking across the street at Fair Oaks Boulevard when a Ford Fusion hit him under unclear circumstances.
Kashi sustained major injuries and was rushed to Mercy San Juan Medical Center where he later died.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were believed to have played a role in the mishap.
The accident remains under investigation.
