Man Killed in Alhambra Car Crash on San Bernardino (10) Freeway near Atlantic Boulevard
1 Killed, 2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Alhambra
Alhambra, California (December 19, 2020) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Alhambra on Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 5:15 p.m. December 18, in the westbound lanes of San Bernardino (10) Freeway near Atlantic Boulevard.
The CHP said a 2015 Toyota slammed into the back of a 2018 Nissan SUV driven by a 42-year-old Duarte man.
The impact of the crash caused the Nissan to collide with a 2018 Ford.
The Nissan driver was killed in the accident.
The other two drivers, a 25-year-old woman from Sacramento and a 26-year-old man from South Gate, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The names of the victims were not disclosed.
The CHP said intoxication did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
The accident is under investigation.
