Westlake Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Miramar Street at Union Avenue Kills 76-Year-Old Kuen Ham

Westlake, California (November 24, 2020) – Authorities have identified the woman who died following an alleged hit-and-run collision Monday morning in Westlake as 76-year-old Kuen Ham.

Officials responded to the fatal crash site at approximately 6:00 a.m., on November 23, Miramar Street at Union Avenue.

A Toyota Corolla was turning left onto Miramar Street when it struck Ham in the morning hours.

Ham, who was crossing the street, was dragged nearly 15 feet away from the scene.

Sadly, Ham died at the hospital just about 8:00 p.m. on Monday while undergoing treatment of critical injuries.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to locate the suspect who fled the scene after the mishap.
