Man Hospitalized after Rolando Collision on El Cajon Boulevard
Pedestrian Struck and Hurt by Vehicle on El Cajon Boulevard in Rolando
Rolando, California (November 4, 2020) – A 68-year-old man was hospitalized after being involved in a pedestrian accident Wednesday morning in Rolando.
The San Diego police responded to the crash site just before 6:00 a.m. in the 6800 block of El Cajon Boulevard west of 70th Street.
A 2016 Mazda3 hit the male party after he stepped into the highway from the median in the morning hours.
The eastbound Mazda3 operator, a 28-year-old man, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities’ investigation.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of a broken arm and a broken pelvis.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
