1 Person Hospitalized after Beaumont Pedestrian Crash on 6th Street and Chestnut Avenue

Beaumont, California (November 21, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday evening hit-and-run traffic accident that left a pedestrian seriously injured in Beaumont.

The major injury pedestrian accident occurred at about 6:24 p.m., on November 19, at the intersection of 6th Street and Chestnut Avenue.

According to the police, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

First responders arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian suffering from major injuries. The patient was hospitalized in critical condition.

The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police. The driver was last seen heading westbound on 6th Street. 

The suspect’s vehicle was described as a white Nissan sedan with significant front-end damage.
