John Deathriage-Walton Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision at McHenry Avenue and Claribel Road in Westminster
Westminster, California (November 21, 2020) – John Deathriage-Walton, 27, of Modesto, has been identified as one of the two people who were killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Westminster on Tuesday night.
The collision happened at around 7 p.m. at McHenry Avenue and Claribel Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Deathriage-Walton was driving a Nissan Altima northbound on McHenry Avenue when he ran a red light at Claribel Road and T-bounded a Lexus that was traveling westbound through a green light.
The impact of the crash pushed the Lexus into three other vehicles that were waiting at the red light.
Deathriage-Walton and his passenger, Krystal Mobley, 35, of Modesto, were killed in the crash.
The Lexus driver Huda Gubary, 46, of Salida, sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported in the collision.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
