1 Person Seriously Injured in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident at Broadway and Seventh Street
Los Angeles, California (November 16, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and seriously injured by an alleged hit-and-run driver on Sunday morning in Los Angeles, authorities said.
The pedestrian accident occurred at Broadway and Seventh Street at about 6:55 a.m. on November 15.
According to the police, a Dodge Avenger was headed eastbound on Seventh Street when it ran a red light and struck a pedestrian in a downtown crosswalk.
The male pedestrian sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
