Bakersfield, California (November 14, 2020) – A motorcyclist was struck and hurt by an alleged hit-and-run driver in Central Bakersfield Friday night, November 13.

The motorcycle accident took place at about 7:45 p.m. in the area of Brundage Lane and South P Street.

Police said a motorcycle crashed with possibly an older model black truck at the Bakersfield intersection in unclear circumstances.

Meanwhile, the big rig operator did not stop to render aid and escaped the scene.

The rider sustained moderate injuries in the wreck.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
