Man Killed, Woman Injured in Sacramento Motorcycle Crash on West Elverta Road
Sacramento, California (November 27, 2020) – A 68-year-old Roseville man was killed and a 64-year-old Sacramento woman injured in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday afternoon near Sacramento International Airport.
The collision was reported at around 3:19 p.m. November 26, on West Elverta Road just east of Garden Highway, according to California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said a Hyundai Sonata driven by a 41-year-old Woodland man was traveling in the wrong direction on West Elverta Road when it collided with Harley Davidson Street Glide ridden by the Roseville man and a Yamaha Sportster ridden by the Sacramento woman.
The Roseville man was killed in the crash while the woman was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
Information about the Hyundai driver was not provided.
It wasn’t immediately determined whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
The accident is under investigation.
