Man Dies Days after Aptos Crash at Freedom Boulevard and Valencia Road
Man Killed in Car Accident at Freedom Boulevard and Valencia Road in Aptos
Aptos, California (November 14, 2020) – A 69-year-old Aptos man has succumbed to the injuries he sustained in a traffic collision last week Thursday at the intersection of Freedom Boulevard and Valencia Road in Aptos, according to a local news source.
The Aptos man was driving his 2010 Dodge Caravan northbound on Freedom Boulevard at around 5:00 p.m. November 5, when he made a left turn onto Valencia Road, directly in front of an oncoming southbound 1999 Ford E150.
Both vehicles ultimately collided at the intersection.
The Aptos man was taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and later taken to Mills-Peninsula Medical Center in San Mateo County, where he died from his injuries on Friday, November 13.
The crash remains under investigation.
