Man Dies after Fullerton Bicycle Accident at Bastanchury Road and Lancer Way
Fullerton, California (November 24, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Monday afternoon traffic accident that killed a cyclist in Fullerton.
The crash occurred at about 5:45 p.m., November 23, at Bastanchury Road and Lancer Way.
According to the police report, a white Mercedes-Benz was headed south on Bastanchury Road when it struck the bicyclist in unclear circumstances.
The cyclist was taken to a hospital where he was he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
