Lexus Sedan Involved in North County Fatal Pedestrian Collision on State Route 76
North County, California (November 15, 2020) – The Oceanside Police Department is investigating the cause of a fatal pedestrian accident that happened in North County early Saturday morning, November 14.
The fatal crash took place just before 1:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes of State Route 76 just east of Old Grove.
A 2005 Lexus sedan reportedly struck an individual in the morning hours for unknown reasons.
The victim died in the wreck.
The sedan driver, who remained at the scene following the mishap, was not determined to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
