George Campos Identified 62-Year-Old Man Killed in Fresno Bicycle Accident at Cedar Avenue and North Avenue

Fresno, California (November 18, 2020) – George Campos, 62, has been identified as the man who was killed in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Friday night in southeast Fresno, authorities said.

The fatal accident occurred on November 13, near the intersection of Cedar Avenue and North Avenue.

According to the police, a White GMC Yukon was moving around the railroad crossing arms near Cedar and North. 

The GMC then traveled at a high-speed rate over the tracks and crashed into Campos, who was riding his bicycle on the other side.

Sadly, Campos was pronounced dead at the scene.

The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.

An investigation into the accident is underway. Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts is urged to contact The Fresno Police Department.
