Clifton Vandiver ID’d as 55-Year-Old Man Killed in Rancho Cucamonga Motorcycle Crash at Base Line Road and Spruce Avenue
Rancho Cucamonga, California (November 6, 2020) – Authorities have identified Clifton Ray Vandiver, 55, of Rancho Cucamonga, has the male motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic accident on Thursday evening in Rancho Cucamonga.
The deadly motorcycle accident occurred at the intersection of Base Line Road and Spruce Avenue, at about 5:04 p.m., on November 4.
As per the police report, a Kawasaki motorcycle operated by Vandiver was traveling eastbound on Base Line Road when it collided with a pickup truck.
The pickup truck was driving westbound on Base Line Road when it turned left onto Spruce Avenue, crossing into Vandiver’s path, the officials said.
Vandiver was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
