Gaviota Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101 Seriously Injures One Person
CHP Investigating Major Injury Gaviota Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 November 23
Gaviota, California (November 25, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a major injury pedestrian accident that happened Monday night in Gaviota.
An individual was struck by a Toyota Corolla while walking in the right-hand lane of Highway 101 on November 23.
It was not mentioned whether the involved motorist stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the investigation.
The unidentified pedestrian was hospitalized at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with major injuries sustained in the mishap.
More details regarding the accident will be released immediately after the completion of the investigation.
