Bakersfield Pedestrian Collision at Union Avenue and Loma Linda drive Left Kaylie Corbella Dead
Bakersfield, California (November 27, 2020) – The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has identified 14-year-old Kaylie Corbella as the Bakersfield victim who was hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in Bakersfield.
Corbella was reportedly struck by the vehicle on Union Avenue and Loma Linda Drive at approximately 6:30 p.m. November 25.
The Bakersfield Police Department did not immediately establish how the accident occurred.
Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities’ investigation.
Sadly, Corbella died in the wreck.
Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the mishap.
The accident remains under investigation.
