Jose Gonzales Seriously Injured in Tulare County Car Crash on Highway 137 near Road 24
1 Killed, Jose Gonzales Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 137 in Tulare County
Tulare County, California (November 20, 2020) – 33-year-old Jose Gonzales was injured in a fatal car crash that killed a 20-year-old man on Friday morning in Tulare County.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision was reported at around 2:15 a.m. on Highway 137 near Avenue 24.
Gonzales was driving a GMC Sierra and when he collided head-on with a Subaru for unknown reasons.
The 20-year-old male Subaru driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gonzalez suffered major injuries and was rushed to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.
Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be factors in the collision.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
