1 Person Dies after Clovis Car Accident on Minnewawa Avenue near Shepherd Avenue
Clovis, California (November 7, 2020) – One person was killed in a head-on car crash on Saturday morning in Clovis, Fresno, authorities said.
At about 5:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly accident on Minnewawa Avenue near Shepherd Avenue.
The CHP said a 2002 Honda CRV was traveling southbound on Minnewawa when, for unknown reasons, it drifted into the northbound lanes.
Unfortunately, the Honda CRV, driven by a 30-year-old man, collided head-on with a 2014 Cadillac SRX, the officials said.
The 30-year-old driver was transported to Clovis Community Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Cadillac was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
