Thomas Felix Killed in Fontana Car Crash on 210 Freeway at Beech Avenue
Fontana, California (January 25, 2020) – 69-year-old Thomas Ray Felix has been identified as the man who was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon in Fontana.
The fatal collision happened on Interstate 210 Freeway at Beech Avenue at around 12:05 p.m. January 20.
As per a local news report, the officers were pursuing a vehicle suspected of being involved in crime.
The chase went through Fontana, Rialto, and Rancho Cucamonga.
The suspect is reported to have made an exit from the freeway at Beech Avenue, ran a red light, and crashed into another car.
Felix was riding in the second vehicle and was killed in the collision.
The suspect and a second person in the second car were transported to area hospitals with unspecified injuries.
No additional information about the crash was provided.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and Major Accident Investigation Team are investigating the accident.
