Boy Seriously Hurt in Fresno Car Crash at Palm Avenue and Pinedale Avenue
Teen Injured in Head-On Collision at Palm and Pinedale Avenues in Fresno
Fresno, California (January 26, 2021) – A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized with critical injuries after being injured in a head-on collision on Monday night in Fresno.
The collision happened at about 8:15 p.m. January 25, in the area of Palm and Pinedale Avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The police said a black SUV reportedly drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an oncoming white panel van.
A 13-year-old passenger was trapped in the van and had to be freed by the firefighters.
The young boy is reported to have suffered life-threatening injuries and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The SUV driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
