Man Dies in Lancaster Pedestrian Crash on 110th Street near Avenue K
Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Vehicle on 110th Street West in Lancaster
Lancaster, California (January 18, 2020) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Lancaster, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly pedestrian accident was reported at around 2 a.m. January 17, on 110th Street just south of Avenue K.
A 51-year-old man from Newhall was walking eastbound in the southbound lane of the street when a 2006 Toyota struck him.
The driver of the Toyota told the police he did not see the man due to the darkness in the area.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name was not disclosed pending notification of the next of kin.
The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
