Nicolas Peterson Identified as Boy Killed in Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash at Coffee and Hageman Roads
Bakersfield, California (January 12, 2021) – Nicolas Brenden Peterson, 13, has been identified as the boy who was killed in a Sunday afternoon motorcycle accident in Bakersfield, authorities said.
The accident occurred shortly before 1 p.m., on January 10, at the intersection of Coffee and Hageman Roads.
According to the officials, Peterson was riding westbound on a motorcycle when he collided with an SUV. The SUV allegedly made a left turn in front of him.
First responders arrived at the scene and found Peterson and a man lying in the roadway.
Sadly, Peterson was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was transported to Kern Medical with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV, a woman, was uninjured. She stopped at the scene to cooperate with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
