Bakersfield Hit-And-Run Accident at Panama Lane and Betty Street Left 58-Year-Old Herminia Morales Dead
Bakersfield, California (January 16, 2021) – 58-year-old Herminia Arreola Morales has been identified as the woman who died after being involved in a hit-and-run Bakersfield pedestrian accident Tuesday evening.
Officials responded to the deadly crash site shortly before 7 p.m. on January 12 in the area of Panama Lane and Betty Street.
Morales was hit by a silver or white Mercedes sedan and a red Chevy Silverado whose drivers escaped the scene. Morales was reportedly attempting to cross the street prior to the mishap.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
