Woman Dies After Being Hurt by Vehicle on East Wardlow Road in Long Beach

Long Beach, California (December 24, 2020) – A pedestrian accident that took place in Long Beach, Wednesday night, left a female party dead.

Authorities responded to the fatal crash site at about 10:30 p.m., on December 23, in the 300 block of East Wardlow Road.

An unspecified vehicle, driven by a 65-year-old Long Beach woman, hit the woman while walking along the highway outside a marked crosswalk.

Sadly, the pedestrian died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.

The involved motorist stopped following the wreck and cooperated with the law.

Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the mishap.

The accident remains under investigation.
