Van Nuys Multi-Vehicle Accident on San Diego (405) Freeway Severely Injures 2 Victims
Van Nuys, California (December 27, 2020) – Severe injuries were reported Friday evening after multiple vehicles crashed on an interstate in Van Nuys.
The major injury collision was reported at about 6:10 p.m. on San Diego (405) Freeway.
The accident involved at least two automobiles and two motorcycles that crashed in the evening hours for reasons.
Due to the impact, two victims were pinned inside the wreckage while one of the riders was ejected from the bike.
Two unidentified patients were hospitalized with severe injuries sustained in the mishap.
Officials shut down all northbound lanes of the freeway for about two hours as they investigated and cleared the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
