Apple Valley, California (December 28, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Sunday evening in Apple Valley.
The fatal accident happened on Highway 18 near Rimrock Road at around 6:45 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pedestrian was walking in the area and was hit by a white 2004 Toyota Sienna.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident led to the temporary closure of the eastbound lanes of Highway 18 and westbound lanes of Rancherias Road.
