Ernesto Ramirez-Hernandez ID’d as Bicyclist Killed in Lamont Crash on DiGiorgio Road near Myrtle Avenue
Lamont, California (December 18, 2020) – The Kern County coroner’s office has identified Ernesto Ramirez-Hernandez, 43, of Lamont, as the man who was killed in a bicycle accident on Sunday morning in Lamont.
The deadly accident occurred on westbound DiGiorgio Road, east of Myrtle Avenue, at about 12:40 a.m., on December 13.
Ramirez-Hernandez was struck by a vehicle on the roadway for undetermined reasons, the police said.
Sadly, Ramirez-Hernandez sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
