Fatal San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 5 near Balboa Park Friday Morning
Downtown San Diego Crash on Interstate 5 near Balboa Park Left One Dead
San Diego, California (December 20, 2020) – One person died after being struck by a vehicle in Downtown San Diego Friday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash site shortly before 9:00 a.m. on Interstate 5 at the southern end of Balboa Park.
An individual was reportedly struck by a vehicle on the northbound side of the interstate near State Route 163 for undetermined reasons.
Sadly, the victim died in the accident.
Meanwhile, the wreck resulted in the closure of three northbound lanes for an unknown time.
The accident remains under investigation.
