2 Killed In Fresno Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 41 at Mount Whitney Avenue
Fresno, California (December 19, 2020) – A traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in the area of Fresno Friday afternoon resulted in the death of two people, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The three-vehicle crash took place on Highway 41 just after 5:00 p.m.
The accident began when a black BMW operated by a male party failed to stop at the traffic light at Mount Whitney Avenue for reasons still under investigation.
The BMW then struck a woman and a man in a white Chevy car.
Due to the impact, the Chevy car was thrown into a Ford truck in front of them.
The female party, who was riding as a passenger in a Chevy car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male operator died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
Officials affirmed that the BMW motorist survived with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, there were no other victims hurt in the wreck, including the truck occupants.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
