Roandy Calderon Killed in Oakland Car Crash on Highway 880 in Oakland

Oakland, California (November 29, 2020) – Roandy Samayoa Calderon, 16, was killed morning in a two-vehicle collision in Oakland early Friday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 12:49 a.m. November 27, on Interstate Highway 880 at Market Street.

A big rig and a Toyota Celica reportedly collided for unknown reasons.

Calderon, a resident of San Pablo, was found outside the Celica and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver was not injured and remained at the scene.

The roadway was shut down for about 3 hours as the authorities examined the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
