Redding Motorcycle Accident on Cypress Avenue near Churn Creek Road Injures Zacharay Miller
Redding, California (November 4, 2020) – 25-year-old Zacharay Aaron Miller, of Redding, has been identified as the rider who was seriously injured following a motorcycle collision Tuesday morning in Redding.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the major injury crash site at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Cypress Avenue near Churn Creek Road.
The mishap involved a pickup truck operated by 77-year-old Bruce Alan Teren and a motorcycle ridden by Miller westbound on Cypress Avenue.
The initial report showed Teren was pulling out of the Safeway shopping center parking lot prior to the collision.
Medical personnel responded to the scene and rushed Miller to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries sustained in the wreck.
There were no other victims hurt, including the Whitmore resident Bruce Teren.
The accident remains under active investigation. Anyone with information regarding the wreck is urged to call Officer Mack at 225-4200.
