Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle at Tippecanoe Avenue and Davidson Street in San Bernardino
San Bernardino, California (November 8, 2020) – A 66-year-old elderly man died after being struck by a vehicle in San Bernardino Thursday morning, November 6.
The fatal pedestrian crash occurred in the area of Tippecanoe Avenue and Davidson Street at about 5:45 a.m.
The mishap involved a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck operated by 48-year-old Brian Phelps north on Tippecanoe Avenue and the male pedestrian.
The pedestrian was reportedly walking directly in the oncoming traffic at the time of the report.
It was not immediately established whether the Grand Terrace resident, Phelps, remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.
The man died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
An investigation into the fatal accident is underway.
