Woman Killed in Antioch Pedestrian Accident at Crossings Boulevard and Mount View Road Left One Dead
Antioch, California (November 13, 2020) – A woman was struck and killed by a train on Wednesday afternoon in Antioch, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 2:10 p.m., on November 11, at Crossings Boulevard and Mount View Road.
According to the police, the woman was walking on train tracks at the intersection when, for unknown reasons, a CSX train struck her.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the accident, the Metro Police shut down one lane of Crossings Boulevard for an unknown period.
No other parties were injured in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
